Wind-powered web host Bounceweb Web Hosting (www.bounceweb.com) has optimized its servers, and extended its green hosting plans to have no carbon footprint.
According to its Monday announcement, Bounceweb's carbon emissions are entirely offset by wind energy credits, and its energy efficiency has been optimized by changing all of its server hardware to use 43 percent less electricity. The company said it has created "a new technology" to ensure zero carbon emission from all its servers.
