Sustainability reporting has become de rigeur among thousands of companies as well as a majority of the Global Fortune 250, but now even academic institutions are beginning to follow suit and issue their own non-financial reports.

This type of reporting is known by several names: sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), triple bottom line (TBL), or environmental, societal, and governance (ESG) reporting.
